Another year has been successfully completed and all of my students have shown so much growth. I cannot wait to meet a wonderful new set of eager Sixth Graders who are as ready to learn as I am to teach! Over the summer, be sure to read LOTS to continue to raise those Lexile Levels. I cannot wait to see what this amazing group of students can accomplish!

Hello All! I cannot believe that another year has come to a close! You have all learned, grown, and matured so much! I am so proud of the students that you have become! Always know that I am just an email away! I love helping my students continue their success however I can.
This week, we have no vocabulary. Some classes will be finishing their final. We will also be watching one of the following films: Anne of Avonlea, Anne with an E, The BFG, or The Wizard of Oz. I look forward to discussing the differences between the film and their novel inspiration, comparing and contrasting, and summarizing. It has been a pleasure and an honor to teach you all and I cannot wait to see what all you accomplish over the coming years! Please remember to READ over the summer! You will be glad that you did!!! :) Love, Your Teacher, Mrs. Castellanos Hello All and welcome to the last FULL WEEK of school! I cannot believe that it has already been a year!
